Eco- Design a way to success
Together with top managers in Europe, Crem Internationals Development Manager, Peter Larsson last week had discussions about sustainable development at a major EU conference in Gothenburg.
The Conference name Manufuture aimed at the future eco-efficient production. During the conference the mission was to find strategies based on research and innovation and to accelerate the industrial transformation in Europe, securing high added value employment and gain a larger share of the world's productivity in the future knowledge-driven economy. Peter spoke about the cooperation with Swerea IVF with energy declarations and how we have taken strategic steps to more eco-efficient coffee machines. The focus is on the machine's life cycle, ranging from eco-efficient production, more energy efficient operation and on to a simple dismantling, deconstruction and recycling.
Besides Peter Larsson, Crem International participated Joran Hagglund, State Secretary, Ministry of Enterprise, Heinrich Flegel, Daimler AG, Leif Östling, CEO Scania, Tom Johnstone, CEO SKF, Edoardo Rabino, Centro Ricerche FIAT, Steve Tuppen, Rolls Royce. - "We can really state that we were in good company," said a satisfied Peter Larsson after his performance. If I am to be honest, I was very nervous at the beginning of the speech, but after 20 minutes on stage it felt better and it was great to hear that everyone loves coffee! " To be invited to a major EU conference as a role model means a lot to us and will inspire us to work even harder for a sustainable development.
